CCA Project Gallery presented a new work by Jean-Luc Moulène.
Jean-Luc Moulène presented photographs in small formats with emptiness of space as a promise of liberty. The presentation offered an exclusive disjunction between “nature (defined by Japanese landscape tradition)” and constructed space (held by the architectural logic of the gallery in the city). It is never to return to the original, but actualization and an embodiment of original as an essential work of the art.
Jean-Luc Moulene stayed at CCA Kitakyushu as Professor of Research Program during a month of October 1998.
