Ken Lum

For over 20 years, Ken Lum’s art has been motivated by the social rules and indeed ethos of publicity mediated culture. A central concern is the problem of identity as it traverses photographic practice and the sign systems of the family unit. Lum’s work has found form in various ways, from Furniture-Sculpture to Language-Paintings, and Portrait-Logos to Photo-Mirrors.
