Katsuhiro Miyamoto

Katsuhiro Miyamoto pursues a new possibility of architecture, and attempts to go beyond the existing system both in his urban analysis such as Environmental Noise Element and in his practice including ‘Zenkai’ House, in which he reconstructed his family home after the Great Hanshin-Awaji Earthquake and religious facility. Miyamoto participated in Japan Pavilion of Venice Biennale of Architecture 1996 with other architects, and won Golden Lion. He is a professor of Osaka City University.
