CCA Islands presents I Want My Crown (2013), a video work by London-based artist Bruce McLean, on view from September 14 to November 20, 2026 (Open by appointment).

In this work, McLean dances to Kevin Coyne’s 1973 song of the same title while pointing to a crown placed above his head—yet he never actually wears it, showcasing his signature approach of using humor and irony to pierce through the assumptions of our surroundings.
