Julião Sarmento (born 1948 in Lisbon) lives and works in Sintra, Portugal.
Using the squared perspective as painting, photograph and video as mediums, Sarmento’s works take multiple approaches to the notion of the point of view, to explore the relationship with the viewers and to dissolves and combines the image to be represented by the various ways of comprehension.
