Taro Igarashi

Taro Igarashi is an architectural historian and critic, and professor of Tohoku University Graduate School. Igarashi has contributed numerous articles and essays to magazines and newspapers, and authored many publications such as ‘The lives of contemporary Japanese architects’ (2011). Igarashi has also curated many art/architecture exhibitions such as Aichi Triennale (2013), and he was the Commissioner for the Japanese Pavilion at the 11th International Architecture Exhibition, Venice Biennale (2008).
