Center for Contemporary Art Kitakyushu
Aye Ko (Yangon) (born in 1963, in Pathein, Myanmar) is an executive director of New Zero Art Space in Yangon, which he founded in 2008 as a space to promote public access to contemporary art. The space organizes free art class for local community, for both children and adults, and presents symposium and workshop with artists from outside Myanmar. While working as an artist who works with various mediums such as video and painting, Ko has organized many exhibitions and art programs, and also serves as an chief editor of “Fashion and New Wave” (art and literature) magazines.
