Maria Lind

Maria Lind (Stockholm) is now Director of Tensta Konsthall. She was Director of the Graduate Program, Center for Curatorial Studies, Bard College (2008 – 10), Director of Iaspis in Stockholm (2005 – 7), and also Director of Kunstverein München (2002 – 4). From 1997 to 2001 Lind was curator at Moderna Museet in Stockholm, where she organized Moderna Museet Projekt, a series of 21 commissioned projects, and co-curator of Manifesta 2, Europe’s biennale of contemporary art (1998). She was the 2009 recipient of the Walter Hopps Award for Curatorial Achievement. Lind has contributed articles and essays to numerous magazines, and among her many publications are ‘Performing the Curatorial: With and Beyond Art’ (ed.) (2012) and ‘Selected Maria Lind Writing’ (2010).
