Toshiji Mikawa is a noisician, who has been making noise for more than a quarter century. He liked improvisations when he was a high school boy, influenced by the guys such as Derek Bailey. When he entered a collage, he met JOJO Hiroshige, with whom he started ‘Fushoku No Marie’, later know as Hijokaidan. Since then, he has been an important member of Hijokaidan. He also started his solo recording project under the name of Incapacitants, which is now a duo with Fumio Kosakai and world wide famous for its tremendous live performance.
