Ken’ichi Shiroma

Born in Ishigaki island.
His family ran a traditional Japaneserestaurant, and he grew up listening to folk songs and popular songs performedthere.
Shiroma started playing a guitar when he was a teenager, and begun hiscareer as a professional musician in Tokyo and was served as a vocalist in thehard rock band.
For his exceptional vocal ability, he has participated in numerousmusic projects including the tv and radio programs and commercial music, andcontributions to other musicians’ albums such as BIGIN, Hidekatsu andYasukatsu Oshima.
After taking a break from his band activities in Tokyo and”Ken’s Club” which is his collaboration with Kenji Komi, Shiroma returned toOkinawa and began his solo career, developing a new music style that mixeshard rock with Okinawan flavors.
