Helmut Schäfer (1969 – 2007) concentrated on experimental/electronic music mainly by using computer. In 1997, Schäfer started his artistic carrier, and with other artists he evolved a project, Earthquake at the Steweag Kunstpreis. The project was also shown at the ARS Electronic Festival and the Documenta. His works and projects were shown in many art exhibition, concepts and festivals in various places including Europe, US and Japan. Schäfer pursed the possibility into the creative use of the digital resource, and was keen on abstraction.
