Kenjiro Hosaka (born in 1976) is curator of the National Museum of Modern Art, Tokyo. Hosaka graduated with MA in Art History from Keio University, and is specialized in Contemporary/Modern Art and Francis Bacon. He has curated many exhibitions such as “Architectural Creation: Peter Märkli and Jun Aoki” (2008), “A Perspective on Contemporary Art 6: Emotional Drawing” (2008), “Touch the world” (2009), “Where is Architecture? Seven Installations by Japanese Architects” (2010), “Leiko Ikemura: Transfiguration” (2011), and “Valerio Olgiati” (2011). Hosaka is co-writer of many books including “Jun Aoki Complete Works 1991 – 2006” (2004, INAX Publishing) and “I will be a curator” (2009, Film Art), and writes many articles as a contributor to many magazines and newspaper including “Subaru” “Bijyutsu-techo” and “Asahi-shimbun”. Hosaka is currently an adjunct lecturer of Musashino Art University.
