Phew

Phew lives and works in Tokyo, and made her debut as the vocal of a punk band ‘Aunt Sally’ in 1979. After the band disbanded, Phew started her career as a solo, and collaborated many musicians such as Ryuichi Sakamoto and with the members of Can she released a album ‘Phew.’ Through the hiatus period she has been involved with many projects such as ‘Big Picture’ and started a punk band ‘MOST.’ In her solo album ‘Five Finger Discount’ released in 2010 Phew remade classic masterpieces including Shuji Terayama and Elvis Presley. Her latest album ‘New World’ is released in 2015.
