Tullio Regge

Tullio Regge is a theoretical physicist. After studied physics in Turin, he received his PhD from Rochester University, and continued his study in Europe and US such as at the Max Planck Institut fur Physic of Munich, where he worked with Werner Heisenberg. Now he is Emeritus Professor of Politecnico di Torino. He introduced Regge Calculus, a simplified formulation of general relativity. Regge theory, a theory of strong interaction at high energy had a great contribution to a black hole perturbation theory.
